ABOUT THE FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
She was ordained a Youth Missionary at the age of 14, by her Maternal Grandmother, the late Pastor Eva Johnson-Jenkins, founder of Mt. Olive Pentecostal Faith Church in Estill, SC. Her Grandmother departed this life, December, 1992.
1991 to present: Some of the outreach organizations that she supports and volunteers for are the American Cancer Society (1991) where she organized a team and participate in the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. She is on the board for the American Diabetes Association (1991) American Diabetes Association Empowerment Advocacy Planning Committee (2008) which oversees prevention and intervention activities throughout Monroe County. American Kidney Foundation (2007), she helped to set up community screenings at her church facilities where she supports health advocacy, prevention and intervention initiatives.
1998: Founder of Women of Color & Faith Ministries. The spiritual mission is to help and encourage women to embrace their faith and believe that God is an awesome God that cares and heals. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and a sound mind.” (Timothy 1:8).
